A few weeks ago my colleague and I arrived at Bristol Airport having finished work early. We hoped to get onto the earlier flight home but were told that if we had not flown into Bristol then it was going to be £120 to change the flight (a fee plus the difference in fare). We decided to wait and catch the flight we were booked on to. Just before the earlier flight was due to leave one of the customer service people came to us and said there wasn't may people on the earlier flight so they were going to transfer us free of charge. Thank you very much to the nice guy on the customer service desk!
I posted a parcel on 2 working day delivery. After 3 days the online tracking showed it had not been delivered. I phoned customer service who said my parcel had been downgraded to 5 working days but could not tell me why as they did not keep those sort of records.
It took an online claim (where it was claimed that the parcel arrived on time) and 6 phone calls (including being cut off twice and told to 'just put in a claim') before I could speak to anybody who had any idea of what was going on. I've now been offered a refund equal to the difference in price of the services (£4) not a full refund as the parcel was delivered.
I will not be using Parcel Force again and I would not recommend them if you have anything which you need delivering by a certain date.
