Ordered 3 games at the same time. Before any were dispatched I decided to cancel one because I had accidentally ordered elsewhere. Pressed cancel and after a day's wait I get a message saying it is too late to cancel even thought it has not been dispatched yet - what the heck?
I then sent them a message and they replied saying that I could return it for a refund but they don't refund the postage - how unfair is this? After 4 attempts at politely asking if they would consider refunding my postage as well since I did try to cancel before it was even dispatched I received no response. Compared with a retailer like amazon who would refund without even batting an eyelid in this situation I was obviously really disappointed.
To top it off one of the other games I ordered did not turn up on release day nor for over a week after with no communication from Zavvi at all. I did manage to cancel this one through the site but the point of pre-ordering a game is to get it at release or at least receive some kind of apology for it being delayed.
Now, they have even deleted the records of my order from the site so I cannot send them messages through that method any more.
