fitter sacked cos he had an accident out of work hours do u think it is fair

hello i had an accident on a sunbed was signed of for a month ,i was in alot of pain ,i spoke to neil who is a manager but ended up arguing which i didnt need at that time ,i had a good work record on the signing off from customers but cos of the argument he stopped giving me work ,i went higher and spoke to paul smart and i thought he would sort the problem out but brcause neil is best friends with him i had no chance ,so now i havent got a job to feed my family ,i would like to take them to court but i am selfemployed ,is there any thing in law where i could take them to court when i was ill ,i would never work for them again neil is a little boy and im not the only fitter hes done this too
