This company will rip you off and they make sure they do the very best they can to avoid the consequences. There is no phone number to contact them on and they make their trading address difficult to understand.
Remote Island, if you read this, make sure you understand that people like you do not succeed in British society, where the majority of people are decent and honest. You have no place in business or in this country.
I ordered a Korionios Cretan Terracotta water feature from Gardenitems and it arrived damaged - the top lip to it was smashed at one side. I paid the best part of 500 pounds and I knew (as with everything like this) that getting the matter sorted would be pure hassle. However, for once in my life, it wasn't. Matt asked me for a photo of the damage and after I sent it to him he organised a replacement, which arrived the next week. This is good service where others fall down. I have received damaged goods from other online companies and they do their very best to stall the replacement or lay the blame elsewhere.
