After searching long and hard for some nice looking wood furniture to match the rest of my living room I came across casabella.
I ordered a TV unit which came pretty quick but unfortunately had a bit of a scratch on it which I emailed casabella about. However the customer service was excellent and they were very quick to reply and offer alternate options, which in the end I ended up swapping for a slightly different unit which was arranged and despatched very quickly. The quality and build of the items is very good and solid and looks way more classy than furniture you get from IKEAs etc so I'd definitely recommend for anyone who cares about quality.
So in all a good experience and due to the customer service i wouldn't hesitate from ordering from them again and look forward to adding more of the range to my living room in the near future :)
Firstly please whatever you do, never use harveys and don't presume you might be one of the ones where everything goes smooth because if it doesn't you're truly screwed. I don't know much about other furniture providers but do your research first because there can't be many as bad as these.
I had a new sofa delivered 4 months ago now only to find it had no feet. I called straight away and all seemed good. Some guy said yep logged that and they'll be with you in a couple of weeks.
About a month later i rang back to check where the feet are and a lady I spoke to said unfortunately it never got actioned as the person who I spoke to wasn't authorised to do so, so she actioned it...
A month later I called back and what a surprise the order hadnt gone through and I spoke to somebody else who actioned it.
One month later I called back to find that it had been actioned, they were just waiting for a 'stock code' for 4 small pieces of wood!? A week later I called back to find the stock code had been sent but it was the wrong one...
So three weeks later which is now 4 months I'm still waiting for some feet for a chair when you can even go in to a store and order a new couch and get it delievered in a month.
I truly have no idea how this diabolical organisation work or even exist.
They have never called me once to give me an update and I've had to make over 20 calls probably about 4 hours on a premium rate phone line trying to get 4 small feet for a couch.
I'm currently looking in to legal proceedings.
It is no coincidence that they're ranked number 776 out of 778 Furniture companies. I can't even believe how bad furniture village must be to be beneath them.
...and the fact they dont even respond on here or twitter etc tells you how much they really care.
It's also a sad state of affairs when you have to resort to posting rubbish on their facebook wall for all to see to actually get them to listen and call you back!
DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR, PLEASE DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH HARVEYS NO MATTER WHAT THE DEAL.
I've used Grainger Games a lot lately for Blu Rays and thought I'd let people know they do offer a very good service.
The price match they offer if you find it elsewhere is very good plus they knock a pound off so long may this continue! They always normally sent you a price match voucher within half a working day and always respond to customer emails pretty quick.
The dispatch time is normally a couple of days unlike shopto etc who dispatch almost immediately but the products have always been in good condition too :) Would definitely be 5 star if slightly quicker delivery.
So I needed a few replacement Blu Ray cases, after looking on ebay i used google shopping to see if I could find it cheaper.
I came across Tonik however was a bit wary as no reviews on trustpilot but saw a couple of good review on google so I decided to use them.
To my delight I found what i wanted much cheaper than anywhere else and free first class delivery. I ordered them about 11am Wednesday and got a dispatch notice about an hour later and they arrived Thursday morning.
Very good service all round :)
Well this is probably the last review I'll write about GAME due to the diabolical service received.
I ordered a PS3 A MONTH AGO and got it delivered to my work address which is a thriving business centre about the same size as a football field in a prime location just off the motorway - which believe it or not makes it incredibly easy to find.
However not for GAMEs courier of choice MYHERMES.
After 2 weeks of not knowing anything about it, I called Game to tell them i hadnt received my parcel, but then got told I could only use WEBCHAT to contact game so after about an hour waiting there and many failed attempts i finally spoke to someone who apologised and said myhermes will return the parcel to use and we'll send it out express delivery to you. 2 weeks later I'm still awaiting a phone call from game and a redelivery.
I tried calling to voice my frustration but once again got told to use the crappy webchat... on this occasion after waiting for an hour nobody answered then the 5pm pack up time came and online chat closed.
However this isn't totally games fault but again another company using useless couriers, however their own customer service deserves a 1 aswell.
An absolute disgrace for such a large company.
Tried Yodel and booked a parcel before reading the trust pilot reviews. However was in a manned reception business centre all day with an intercom and about 15:40 it showed up on the tracking unable to collect parcel and "left a card" - rubbish.
Also my phone number was added to the order too just in case however no call either...
HOWEVER - UPDATE
Last couple of Yodel parcels have been on time and in good condition plus if you need help the twitter dedicated team are very helpful.
So maybe it looks like theyre getting their act together a bit and we might not have to dread the 'delivery by yodel' tag.

SO this is the first time i've felt I've needed to review an online purchase on any website.
Basically ordered a video game at 13:00 Tuesday, within 20 minutes Shopto sent me a photo of the processed and addressed package ready for dispatch - this was just general free first class delivery, no extra fancy quick delivery or anything.
The game was received Wednesday morning at 9.30am.
A game which is in stock is still 'Processing and awaiting Stock pick' 8 days later. Absolute joke of a retailer. I can't believe it takes a huge online retailer this long when it takes someone off ebay normally a day to post a game and that's not even their job.
UPDATE though, I used Zavvi for another item recently and it was dispatched in a couple of hours and received in 2 working days, maybe theyve sorted some bits out or maybe it depends on where stocks located etc? However a bit of trust regained!
